Winter is the saddest part of the year for us here at Strong Rock. The grass is brown, the birds fly south for the winter and most of all there are no joyful screams coming from many of you as you run aound the field playing Multimate Frisbee or gather at the lodge to play four square. There are no counselors walking around with facepaint to show thier tribal pride. I especially miss the assembly times where the stomping, clapping, and singing can be heard from my office. Oh how I miss you all.

But…
…The times are changing!
The temperature this week has been in the upper 70’s and Rick has been planting grass and mowing. The daylilies are beginning to sprout and the daffadils are in bloom. The horses are losing their winter coat, and those of
us in the office are busy planning for the summer! Oh there are many changes occuring! The 2009 theme will be announced soon and construction on the Blob tower is in the planning stages! New skills have been added and Rambo is busy interviewing staff. It’s hard to believe that we will see you all again in only a few short months! Even Winston and Lily Belle are excited! We are all getting ready! Are you?
