I have the privilege of having a grandfather for a hero. I am always amazed at the integrity of his character, his genuine love for others, and his tireless pursuit of Jesus. He has never failed to encourage me or give me good advice. He helped me financially while I was in college. I watched him take in and raise my cousins when they needed someone to take care of them. I learned how to be a man after God’s own heart by watching my grandfather. More than anything he has been the model of patience and character.
