Tribes
All campers are organized into two groups of mixed gender and
age, through which they enjoy spirited competition throughout the
session. The Waya tribe, represented by the wolf, and the Awahili
tribe, represented by the eagle, are the tribes native to Strong Rock.
Campers will become part of one of these tribes on the first day
of camp and will remain with that tribe throughout their years at camp. A
great deal of pride is associated with this tribal membership, and campers will develop close bonds with their fellow
tribe members. |
