Horseback Riding

Horseback is one of the most popular classes at camp and once you take it you will see why. You will learn the basics with hunt seat (English-style) riding, taught in Strong Rock’s riding arena by instructors certified by Compass Horsemanship Association.

You will be given a horse that matches your skills and put into classes based on your experience. If you come to a Main Camp session you will participate in a trail ride. Horseback classes are for rising 4th grade and older. However, younger campers will be given an opportunity for pony rides each day.
